Terms of Service

Article 1 · Purpose

These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and its users in connection with the hotel Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) rate-comparison assistance features the Service provides.

Article 2 · Definitions

• “User” means any member or non-member using the Service under these terms.
• “Member” means a person who signs in with a Google account to use the Service.
• “Chrome extension” means the program installed in the user’s Chrome browser that processes limited rate conditions on sites approved for automatic capture, or lets the user manually enter a rate they checked, to assist comparison.
• “BRG (Best Rate Guarantee)” means the best-rate guarantee program each hotel or chain operates under its own terms. It is not a program provided by the Service.

Article 3 · Nature and scope of the Service

• Once a user saves a base rate, the Service compares rates for the same conditions through automatic capture or manual entry and displays the results.
• Easy BRG is not an official service of any hotel or booking site, and displaying a site’s name or icon does not imply that company’s approval or endorsement.
• A link marked “Affiliate link” is a tracking link provided under an approved partner programme. Easy BRG may receive a commission when you visit or book through a link marked “Affiliate link.” Easy BRG itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. When you follow an “Affiliate link” to an external site, that destination site may use affiliate identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies.
• The Service assists with comparison information only. It does not perform automatic booking, automatic payment, or automatic BRG claim submission. Users make bookings and file claims themselves on each site or with each hotel.
• Whether a BRG claim is approved, and on what conditions, is governed entirely by each hotel or chain’s terms. The Service does not guarantee approval or refunds.
• Rates and comparison results shown by the Service are based on automatically saved values, values the user enters manually, and reference aggregates. The Service does not warrant real-time accuracy or availability. Users must confirm final rates and conditions directly on each site.

Article 4 · Membership and accounts

• Membership registration is via Google sign-in; no separate password is created.
• Users must use their account with accurate information and are responsible for managing it.
• Only persons aged 18 or older may register.
• Date of birth is processed once at sign-up, or on first sign-in after a change to the minimum-age requirement, and is not stored after the check.
• The over-18 confirmation result is stored on the account and deleted when the account is deleted.
• Members may request account deletion at any time; the procedure follows the Privacy Policy.

Article 5 · Paid services and payment

• The Service offers free features and paid (Pro) features; prices and features are posted on the pricing page.
• Payments are processed through Toss Payments in Korean won (KRW); payment-method details such as cards are handled directly by the payment processor.
• The period and scope of paid use follow the conditions of the purchased product.

Article 6 · Withdrawal and refunds

The paid (Pro) service is digital content/services. Refunds depend on whether use has begun (whether Pro features have been used), as follows.

• Before use begins: you may withdraw (full refund) within 7 days of payment.
• After use begins: once paid features have been used, withdrawal may be restricted and the payment may be non-refundable, per the conditions you agreed to at checkout.
• If the Service has a material defect, or use is impossible for reasons attributable to the Service, a refund is provided regardless of whether use has begun.
• Refunds are processed under applicable law (including Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) and the payment processor’s policy.

※ Payment proceeds only after you agree at checkout that withdrawal is restricted once paid features are used.

Article 7 · User obligations

• Users must comply with applicable law, these terms, and each booking site’s and hotel’s terms.
• Users must not use the Service improperly or disrupt its operation with automated bulk requests.
• Users must not use automated means to collect or copy the hotel lists, site information, or comparison results the Service provides, nor redistribute them to third parties or use them to build a competing service.
• Users must not infringe others’ rights or submit false information.

Article 8 · Changes to and suspension of the Service

• The Service may change or discontinue all or part of its features for operational or technical reasons.
• Some features may be limited by changes to supported booking sites, their page structures, or third-party services (sign-in, payment, AI).
• Material changes will be announced in advance, such as by notice within the Service.

Article 9 · Limitation of liability

• The Service does not guarantee BRG approval or refunds, real-time rate accuracy, or booking success, and is not liable for user decisions or damages arising from them, except in cases of the Service’s intent or gross negligence.
• The Service is not liable for damages caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure or third-party service outages.
• The Service is not a party to transactions or disputes between users and booking sites or hotels.

Article 10 · Intellectual property

Rights to the screens, software, and content provided by the Service belong to the Service or their rightful owners; users may not copy, distribute, or use them without permission.

Article 11 · Privacy

The Service protects users’ personal data under applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

Article 12 · Governing law and disputes

• These terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• Disputes between the Service and users are to be resolved by mutual consultation in principle; failing that, jurisdiction follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
